In mid-February, Audi officially introduced the electric sports sedan e-tron GT.  In fact, the Audi e-tron GT was developed on the same high-performance electric vehicle platform J1 shared from Porsche Taycan.  With the 4-door coupe style, the Audi model comes in two versions, including the e-tron GT quattro and the high-performance RS e-tron GT model.

Similar to Taycan, the Audi e-tron GT is equipped with 2 electric motors arranged in 2 axes to form the AWD drive system, accompanied by a 2-speed gearbox to optimize the performance.  The standard version has a capacity of 476 hp and 630 Nm of torque, while the RS specification is 589 hp, 830 Nm.  With overboost mode, Audi RS e-tron GT needs only 2.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km / h.

The battery pack of the e-tron GT has a capacity of 86 kWh and supports fast charging with a 0-80% charge time that takes 22.5 minutes, or takes 5 minutes of charging to travel 100 km.  With a starting price of $99,900 in the US market, the Audi e-tron GT competes with the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan in the group of high-end electric sedans.

Initial information about the BMW i4 was announced 2 weeks ago.  BMW's first electric sedan is classified in the 4-door Gran Coupe product group with a modern and sporty design.  The competitor of the BMW i4 is said to be the Tesla Model 3 or the Polestar 2.
