Emuage technology received the Innovation Award at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show / Ph. e-muage

The partnership also includes a strategic investment in B2B Cosmetics

This partnership is said to be "an exclusive, long-term strategic partnership in the field of personalized personal care products."

B2B Cosmetics will provide a personalized system, marketed under the Emuage technology name. This technology allows customers to create their own personal care products by choosing capsules, placing them in the machine and receiving the final product to care for hair or skin care.

Emuage technology received the Innovation Award at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas for the second year in a row.

"BASF is very proud to partner with B2B Cosmetics. We will be collaborating with B2B Cosmetics to further leverage their unique technology in the coming months. We expect that the partnership will enable us to support the industry with a new approach for individualized personal care products," said Robert Parker - head of new business development at Care Chemicals, BASF.

Grégoire Tutenuit, CEO of B2B Cosmetics says "B2B Cosmetics will benefit from BASF’s experience and latest developments into personal care ingredients. This cooperation will allow us to establish and commercialize the technology and the device."

B2B Cosmetics was established in late 2014 by two chemical engineers - Julien Gros and Grégoire Tutenuit. The company has developed Emuage technology, in which the patented smart design allows the production of cosmetics directly into the final cosmetic bottle with integrated blending capabilities from ingredients in single-use capsules.

BASF combines economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility. The group has more than 115,000 employees. Their portfolio is organized into six segments: Chemicals, Materials, Industrial Solutions, Surface Technologies, Nutrition & Care and Agricultural Solutions. BASF generated revenue of more than 60 billion euros in 2017.

Let look forward to their products to see the result of this perfect combination.
