Marbella, in particular, is emerging as a favored destination, with its allure as a premier locale poised for further expansion.

In 2023, the influx of American tourists to Spain surged, with approximately 3.8 million visitors, and the first two months of 2024 alone saw 337,062 Americans—a staggering 23.7% increase compared to the previous year. This surge in tourism is mirrored by a significant rise in visitor expenditure, which reached €8 billion in 2023, reflecting a 50% increase from 2022. The Agency's report positions Marbella as the 16th most expensive city globally for luxury residences, surpassing even Madrid and Dubai. Newly constructed and renovated properties in exclusive locales can command prices as high as €28,600 per square meter.
