Discover Australia’s Most In-Demand Coastal Properties
Explore the top regional coastal properties in Australia, perfect for buyers and renters seeking year-round sunshine and relaxation.
As winter approaches in some parts of the country, many are looking to escape the chill and bask in the year-round sunshine of Australia's coastal properties. The demand for properties in these areas is high, driven by their desirable climates and stunning natural surroundings.
Suburbs in regional Queensland, particularly in the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, are leading the way in terms of property enquiries per listing for both buyers and renters. Shelly Beach in the Sunshine Coast has taken the top spot, with an impressive average of 43 enquiries per listing in April. This coastal gem is known for its clear waters and tranquil atmosphere, making it a favourite among locals and visitors alike.
Nearby, Dicky Beach also enjoyed high demand with 32 enquiries per listing. The Gold Coast suburbs of Coomera, Pimpama, and Tugun are also hot markets, offering a blend of urban convenience and beautiful coastal living just a short drive from Brisbane's CBD.
In regional New South Wales, Tweed Heads West in the Richmond-Tweed region was the most in-demand coastal properties. Tweed Heads itself is a vibrant town known for its beautiful beaches, relaxed lifestyle, and proximity to the Queensland border, attracting individuals looking to surf, fish, or simply enjoy the beach environment.
Western Australia also has its share of high-demand areas, with Withers in Bunbury making it into the top ten list. The Bunbury region, located about two hours away from Perth, offers a peaceful getaway from the city's hustle and bustle.
While no Victorian suburbs made it onto the top ten list, areas like Frankston and Seaford in the Mornington Peninsula saw high demand in April. For those looking to venture further from the city, Rosebud and Mount Pleasant also attracted significant interest.
In the Geelong area, beach towns like Clifton Springs and Curlewis remain popular as winter approaches. Jan Juc saw more enquiries per listing than other Great Ocean Road hotspots, offering attractive options for those seeking a warm retreat or a cosy winter escape.
Whether you're looking for a sunny coastal retreat, a place to enjoy the cooler months, or a cosy fireside getaway, Australia's coastal properties have something for everyone. Discover Australia's Most In-Demand Coastal Properties
