Through this research, they tried to find out the most popular fashion brands in Europe. However, it varied according to geography. - Gucci, an Italian luxury brand of fashion and leather goods, is the most popular one in the United Kingdom, Sweden and Denmark - The fashion brand which dominates the Italian fashion market is Off-White, a fashion label founded by American creative designer Virgil Abloh - Balenciaga, a luxury fashion house founded in Spain by Cristobal Balenciaga, rules the area of Netherlands and Germany - Dolce & Gabbana is the most popular in Belgium and Spain - Portugal and France’s most famous fashion brands are Nike and Adidas Across the continent, the most-finding fashion items are jackets and dresses and the most desirable one is the “Mini Industrial Belt” produced by Off-White. And when it comes to colours, black and white are the top colours in most European countries. The research also reveals the fashion spending trends in Europe. In most countries (except for Italy), women spend more than men in shopping. Monaco is at the top of the biggest spending countries. Women here spend an average $900 every time they stock up on wardrobe items, according to Lyst. Women peak shopping hour is also different from that of men. Women tend to spend their money shopping most at 5pm whereas it is 11pm for men. The ideal areas for bargain-hunters are Greece and Portugal. These countries are also where 50% of fashion purchases took place during sales periods.
