Furla: 28% increase in revenues for the first half of 2016

Italian affordable luxury brand FURLA generated a revenue of €194 million an increase of 28% on the same period of last year. That growth at constant exchange rates was 27%, with increases between 22% and 34% depending on the region.
In Japan, Furlars leading market : accounting for 26% of total revenue, sales grew by 30% like in the USA.
In Europe (Italy excluded) also recorded exellent results (+26%) - the same as Italy itself where sales jumped up by 34%.
In Asia-Pacific grew by 22%, the region now accounting for 20% of total revenue, compared to 16% last year. Worth mentioning is the significant growth in the travel retail channel, up to 38% where Furla is present with 223 stores in 52 countries.
The total number of active mono-brand store was 425 compared to 437 in the first six months of 2015 in which half of them directly operated and half in franchising. The brand is also distribured via 1,200 muti-brand stores in 100 countries.
