Tourism is one of the industries that are affected most seriously by the pandemic Covid-19. Recovering the business is not an easy task, but these actions are praiseworthy. -------------------------------------- Following the global pandemic of Covid-19, many industries are in troubles and many businesses are on the edge of bankruptcy. Understanding this, the Japanese government and the Italian government are taking positive actions to recover their tourism industries.

Sicilian holidays are now more reachable

The Italian government has taken a wise action with an effort to revive their tourism industry which was damaged considerably by the pandemic COVID-19. There is a tourism offer that you might never want to miss: an offer to pay for your Sicily holiday. Of course, they will not pay the cost for your whole holiday, but you can expect a part of it. According to a recent report, Sicily has lost about $1.7 billion in tourism as a consequence of the COVID-19 global outbreak. The offer mentioned above is one of their attempts to attract international tourists.

Sicily government has decided to spend an amount of $85 million on their plan to attract tourists. The government will pay half of your flights and a third of your accommodation costs. Add to that, you will have a chance to visit all museums and archaeological sites free. Can you find a better deal?

The Japanese government wants to pay for part of your holidays

Similar to what the Italian is doing to stimulate the tourism industry, the Japanese government announces that they will pay part of your trips to this country. You cannot expect a free oversea trip, but it will be a good portion of your total costs. According to the Chief of the Japanese Tourism Agency Hiroshi Tabata, the current COVID-19 situation in the country could allow the country to open the national borders early in July. The agency has decided to set €11,7 billion to mitigate the loss of expected revenue from the 2020 Olympics which is postponed as the consequences of the serious pandemic. Many governments are working on a plan to revive different industries after the COVID-19 outbreak. The Italian government and the Japanese government are about to give especially generous offers on tours to these countries. Maybe you can take a chance.
