Pitti Immagine, the organiser of Italian fashion industry trade shows has launched a new digital platform called Pitti Connect.

The new digital platform Pitti Connect will be launched at the end of June that will assist buyers in connecting with brands before the scheduled September trade show and will allow exhibitors at the Pitti Immagine fairs (Pitti Uomo, Pitti Bimbo, Pitti Filati, Fragranze, and Super) to enhance brand identity, access to business contacts and manage the order phase while complying with the traditional timing of sales campaigns helping them easily reach buyers and members of the trade–including those not physically present. Users of this new digital platform will be able to carry out scouting activities, research, meetings and even view collections through video chats or by means of a virtual showroom with advanced functions.

The platform acts as an essential marketing tool that aims to keep the fashion industry connected during the ongoing disruption caused by the Covid19 pandemic, increasing companies’ visibility and to facilitate networking ahead of the upcoming fairs.

In April, the leading menswear trade show Pitti Uomo was announced to be delayed until September 2nd-4th and take place in Florence in light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation. The children’s trade fair Pitti Bimbo is scheduled to take place Sept. 9-10 in Florence.

Pitti Connect - a totally new platform and an editorial layout that is rich in content, just like a regular magazine which is designed to boost business and networking for all Pitti fairs will be available in late June until September when the service will become integrated with the physical fair at the Fortezza da Basso.

Pitti Immagine currently owns a network of 90,000 registered and certified Pitti Uomo users ; 33,000 of Pitti Bimbo users and 25,000 Pitti Filati users which generated 182,000 exhibitor searches on the website with over 1,300,000 web pages visited during the last edition of Pitti Uomo in January.
