In 2019, the Gateway Foundation plans to build a cruise ship-style hotel that can hover in space.  Model named Vaon Braun Sation.  It was later renamed Voyager Station by Orbital Assembly Corporation - the company of former pilot John Blincow.

It is said that construction of the space hotel is expected to begin in 2026 and open to visitors in 2027.

The hotel has a 2-circle structure, the outside rotates the inside and generates artificial gravity.  This technology is similar to the ISS space station, but people can travel normally and can live as long as they do on Earth.

Architect Tim Alatorre said the hotel was inspired by the 2001 movie: A Space Odyssey directed by Stanley Kubrick.  The architect and his team wanted to bring luxury suites, bars and restaurants to space.

In the space, guests can still use a shower and regular bed.

The design shows that the interior is as luxurious as a regular hotel.  It is more special with windows for visitors to look out into the vast space of the universe.

Staying here, guests are provided with sports activities.  Thanks to the zero gravity environment, you can jump higher, lift many things, and run in ways you can't on Earth.

The hotel can accommodate about 280 guests, 112 crew members.  All visitors here have to undergo a training course.  Currently, the room rate has not been announced, but the team hopes to stay here is equivalent to a cruise or visit to Disneyland.

The Starship system of the SpaceX of billionaire Elon Musk is expected to help bring the hotel into space.  The project team hopes this is the driving force behind the space tourism development.  Government and private companies can rent rooms to train crew.
