As competition in the airline industry become fierce, more and more companies are putting their efforts on innovation factor to embrace the market. Introducing unique aircraft designs is a common method.

The most unique aircrafts, which are the result of the collaboration between Uber and Hyundai, has been recently introduced at CES 2020. It is expected to take off by 2023 and will carry people, including a pilot and three passengers, up to 97 kph. Aiming for the skies with flying taxis has been Uber’ strategic plan for years. This is the reason why they collaborated with various aerospace brands to fulfil the dream. Uber introduced the concept created when teaming up with Jaunt Air Mobility at the Uber Elevate Summit taking place in June 2019. Jaunt Air Mobility is well-known with its plan of making a fully autonomous aircraft by the end of 2029. The designs of flying taxis was a uniques combination between a helicopter and a plane. According to a representative from Uber, the first swarm of flying cars is expected to launch in the United States and Australia in 2023, with schemes planned for Dallas, Las Vegas and Melbourne.Flying Honu
The Japanese’s largest airline for seven consecutive years, All Nippon Airways, publicly introduce the thirds of its unique aeroplane designs called “Flying Honu” Airbus A380s. Thanks to the introduction, All Nippon Airways now can offer daily flights between Narita and Honolulu with this most unique aircraft. Currently, the brand provides two flights daily on the Narita – Honolulu route, with 10 flights served by Airbus A380s and 4 flights served by Boeing 777s. In order to embrace the market and offer aeroplane services to more passengers, from the first of July, ANA will start operating its three Airbus A380s*2. The “Flying Honu” served on the Narita – Honolulu route first time in May 2019. It was painted in blue so to represent the blue sky of Hawaii. The other was painted emerald green, inspired by the crystal-clear water of the Hawaiian ocean. Most passengers showed their great interest in these unique aircraft designs.
