Virgin Galactic’s Space Travel Ticket costs $450,000
Virgin Galactic has officially announced the sale opening of tickets to the public for the first time with a deposit of $150,000 in advance is required.

Virgin Galactic tickets start at $450,000 per ticket, as the company revealed last year, with three different service options: Single Seats, Seats for Couples, Friends seats, Family seats or chance to sponsor for the entire flight. In a previous announcement, the company also made it clear that out of the $150,000 deposit, they will only refund $125,000.
Stock of Virgin Galactic rose 32% in the session - closed at 10.74 USD. In the past 12 months, after the company announced the delay of commercial flights into space, its stock has been continuously falling to above 80%.
For most of the past decade, Virgin Galactic has had about 600 reservations on future flights, with each ticket priced between $200,000 and $250,000. In August 2021, the company opened ticket sales for $450,000 to those who had expressed interest and also sold about 100 additional tickets as of November.
